How to take care of your mental health during Covid-19?

Utilize teletherapy so that you can continue to talk to your therapists even during these times when we have to follow social distancing and as clinics are closed. Most insurances cover this option so you would not have to pay out of pocket.

Understand that this is a pandemic. We are all in this together. Everyone is anxious during these times and it’s okay because everyone is experiencing the stress and anxiety in some way.

Begin each day with a thought of gratitude. It can help us have a more positive outlook towards our life and each day. Also, encourage your family members to do the same. Have a schedule and keep the same daily routine.

Be organized even when we are stuck home. Start with making your bed and be focused on your goals. Go outside for about 20 minutes. Even if it’s a quick walk, a hint of fresh air can be refreshing and soothing.

Eat healthy. Have a lot of fruits and vegetables in our meal.

Make your mental health a priority and know that this too shall pass!!
